Abstract
“When you photograph people in colour, you photograph their clothes. But when you photograph people in Black and white, you photograph their souls!” – Ted Grant
Looking at anything through the polarised ideology is to look at what lies beyond...to strip it bare of its skin and peeling off outer layers to examine what lies beneath and beyond. The studio involves engaging with theories and practices of meaning making in form as well as deepening our understanding as we move our attention to the core to the essence of the object. This ability is developed by studying the core elements, principles, processes, methods and fundamentals of form-making and capacitating form for desired meaning.
